Gratitude Month | Day 17

Today I’m grateful for Suzanne, who flew in from Louisiana to be here for her dad’s surgery. When the date got set, I was torn about still going to NYC, but she told me not to worry and she had everything covered. Joe’s on the mend now, and feeling good enough to tease me about not being here, so I’ll never live that down. That’s ok. I’m just glad he’s doing better, Mom had the help she needed, and Suzanne was here to make sure everything went smoothly. I wish she and I could’ve spent some time together, but we’ll make that happen next trip. Grateful for you, Suzanne!
