Gratitude Month | Day 18

Today I’m grateful for the chance to teach and learn around the world. From weaving COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects into every New Product Development course (made possible through the fellowship led by Sangita Gosalia) to leading study abroad programs in Spain in 2023 and 2024, Ireland in 2025, and again in 2026, these experiences have been some of the most meaningful parts of my work.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to travel with our students, introduce them to new cultures, and watch their confidence and curiosity grow. It’s a privilege to be part of their global learning journey.

A huge thank you to our University of Dayton Global and Intercultural Affairs team — Sangita, Paul Geis, Ben Jackson, Adrian Colborn, Adrian deSilva, and Heather Schieman - for all the support behind the scenes. Thank you to my COIL partners, Peter Barlett in the UK & Daniela Acquati in Italy. And, a huge thank you to Marsha Keune and the University of Dayton School of Business Administration for these incredible opportunities.

It’s been such a joy to be part of these global experiences. Here’s to the memories made and the ones still to come.
