Gratitude Month | Day 23

Today I’m grateful for our little corner of the world on Indian Wells Trail. The ’hood has become such a special part of our lives. So many of our neighbors have become close friends, and it feels like we’ve built our own little community right here on the street. I love our sunset nights, our get-togethers, and the way everyone looks out for each other.

Phil is never living down the morning he had a team breakfast and cars started pulling up early. The rest of the street thought something terrible had happened. Only in this neighborhood would concern turn into a full investigation before coffee.

This group photo is from one of our newer traditions, the Tasting of the Trail. Everyone hops in golf carts from house to house for a progressive appetizer and wine night, and the whole thing is just pure fun from start to finish. Thank you to Ashlea Sogard, Britt Knutson Platt, and Sarah Henger for bringing this tradition to life.

So grateful for this neighborhood and the people who make it feel like home.
