Gratitude Month | Day 26

Today I’m grateful for our annual Baking Day tradition. Every year on the day before Thanksgiving, we come together to make pies for the holiday, and the kids always come up with the most creative designs. We also bake extra pies to donate to House of Bread so they can serve them on Thanksgiving Day.

We also put up our Thanksgiving tree, where everyone writes what they’re thankful for on a paper leaf and hangs it up. It’s a simple way to pause and appreciate the good things in our lives. I’m grateful for all the memories this tradition has given us over the years.
