Gratitude Month | Day 30
Gratitude Month | Day 30
Closing out Gratitude Month with one of my favorite photos of me and my girls. We were laughing so hard in this moment, and when I saw a sign in a colleague’s Zoom background that said, “These are the good old days,” it hit me. Moments like this only get sweeter with time.
This year I found myself grateful for so many things: rest, hosting friends, family, meaningful work, my students, consulting, our parents, education, veterans, one-on-one time with our kids, extended family, global opportunities & friends, good books and good friends to talk about them with, nonprofits making a difference in our community, remembering those we’ve lost, neighbors (the 'hood), and our kids’ friends who somehow become ours too. I’m grateful for traditions like Baking Day and Thanksgiving, for Murphy snoozing at my feet, remembering to stop and smell the roses like my mom always tells me, and for the reminder to take care of myself.
It’s a long list, and a lucky one. I’m grateful for you being here and for the connection this little tradition brings. Here’s to carrying a bit more gratitude into today and every day. 💛
