Gratitude Month | Day 7 | 2026

Today, I’m grateful for my students at the University of Dayton and work that means so much to me.

Bringing my years of marketing leadership experience into the classroom has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I love being part of this university community, and these photos with my four classes this semester show some of the people who make my days better.

My students are smart, kind, thoughtful, and so much fun. They make me laugh and keep me on my toes. Their kindness and the way they show up for one another do not go unnoticed.

It’s such a special time to be part of their lives. They’re enjoying their college years, discovering their interests, and imagining what their futures might look like. We often talk about their plans and the possibilities ahead. I love those conversations and the chance to offer perspective and encouragement as they figure out what comes next.

I’m also grateful that so many of these connections continue long after a semester ends. Hearing from former students, celebrating their news, and seeing where life takes them is one of my favorite parts of this work. They remind me how much the relationships we build at a university can matter.

To my students, past and present, I love being your professor. I’m grateful to be part of your lives, and I hope you know I’m always in your corner, wherever life takes you.
